Well-Rounded Hybrid Machine

TNX-RIII Series is based on a hydraulic type vertical injection molding machine that provides user-friendliness and longer lifespan, yet it materializes lower running cost by the X-Pump®.  This is a turntable type ideal for robot insertion of a single object.

Fusion of Hydraulic Control and Servomotor Drive Technologies

Intelligent Hybrid X-Pump® System

Hybrid pump system "X-Pump®" is a combination of 2-stage type hydraulic pump and AC servomotor.  The servomotor rotates at required speed only when it is necessary to control  output volume and pressure of the hydraulic oil.

Simple & Compact Injection Mechanism that Materializes Outstanding Injection Performance

  1. By switching the discharge volume of a hydraulic pump whenever necessary to correspond to the molding conditions, it materializes outstanding controllability in wide-range of injection speed and pressure.
  2. Its servomotor-driven pump permits low-flow volume control, and the feedback control is capable in precisely controlling the "velocity setting below 1mm/s," which is impossible to achieve with the conventional hydraulic machines. In addition, controllability and stability in ultra-low pressure range have been improved significantly, making it ideal for thick-wall product and hot melt (low-pressure encapsulation) moldings.
  3. X-Pump® equipped machines can hold high injection pressure for a long time, which is difficult to achieve with the electric machines.  It is effective in improving the quality of thick-wall products.

Long-Lasting Operation Stability of Direct Pressure Clamping Mechanism

  1. It is equipped with a direct pressure type clamping mechanism, which is tolerant to temperature change of the mold and clamping mechanism, generating consistent clamping force according to the setting. It is easy to set optimal (low) clamping force friendly to the mold & machine, and its simple and clean mechanism can maintain machine precision for a long time.
  2. Wide turntable with 3-tie bar shaft is equipped, increasing the maximum mountable mold dimensions to the industry-best level (up to 20% larger than our conventional machines). It accommodates larger mold due to intricate shape of the products or mold with a slide core.
  3. Turntable rotation and ejector motion are driven by servomotor. Faster-yet-smooth (low-vibration) rotation and simultaneous motion of injection/metering & ejection are possible, achieving faster cycle.
  4. It offers a wide workspace around the turntable (mold mounting face). Its low-height turntable significantly improves preparatory work, such as mold change, and workability/operability of workpiece insert and product takeout. It can flexibly be adopted into automation systems, such as robots.
