The clamping unit is equipped with a flat clamp, automatic clamping force adjuster, direct clamping force setting, and high-sensitivity mold protection function. It is a toggle mechanism that is safe to the mold, materializing linear pressure toggle of high-cycle, high-precision, high-rigidity, and high-durability. Thus, it possesses the characteristics similar to the direct pressure mechanism, yet it utilizes the advantages of the toggle mechanism, such as its high-cycle property. In addition, shortening the cycles can easily be achieved by its increased mold open/close and ejector speeds as well as using the simultaneous motions, such as mold open & ejection during metering and injection during clamping.
Larger screen, newly designed operation panel, and convenient & user-friendly premium software are equipped to improve workability & operability, and the quality & production management functions have been reinforced.
Sheet switch type is used for the operation panel, and 15-inch vertical LCD can arrange two windows vertically, materializing superior visibility and operability.
Molding condition settings to increase yield, which used to require a skilled technician, are automated and simplified. Its "Easy Setting" permits the reduction of defect rate.
In addition, new features, such as SET-UP screen and display of the descriptions of adjusters, allow saving of preparation time from mold installation to starting of mass production and materialization of easy & reliable operation.
In order to reduce molding defects, the barrel temperature control zones have been subdivided and optimized to improve plasticization performance. New NEX Series offers improved basic functions, such as higher injection pressure and faster injection speed. Many optional features are also available, such as a selection of high precision specification for 2EG~12EG injection unit classes, which materializes further precise stable molding.
